1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Cyberwire LLC (“BizDocs,” “we,” “us”). By accessing bizdocs.com, creating an account, or using any BizDocs service (together, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business, and “you” includes it.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
2. What BizDocs is (and isn't)
BizDocs is a self-help document-creation platform. You answer questions; the Service assembles a customized business document you can edit and download. We work hard to make the output professional and useful — but what BizDocs is not matters just as much:
- BizDocs is not a law firm and does not practice law.
- Using the Service does not create an attorney-client relationship.
- Content on the Service — documents, guides, FAQs — is general information, not legal advice for your specific situation.
- We do not review your documents for legal sufficiency, and we make no promise that any document is appropriate for your circumstances or enforceable in your jurisdiction.
Laws vary by state and change over time. For advice about your specific situation, consult a licensed attorney.
3. Your account
Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity under your account. One account per person; you may not share, sell, or transfer an account without our consent.
4. Plans, billing & cancellation
BizDocs offers two ways to pay:
- Single Document — a one-time purchase, at the price shown at checkout, that lets you create, customize, and immediately download one document, with limited customization options.
- BizDocs Unlimited — a subscription, monthly with an introductory period or billed annually, at the prices shown at checkout, that includes unlimited document creation, all document types, PDF and Word downloads, editing, and secure document storage. Introductory and renewal terms are detailed in the Subscription Terms.
Subscriptions renew automatically each month until canceled. You can cancel anytime from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. Documents you have already downloaded are yours to keep after cancellation.
Prices are shown at checkout, in the currency shown there, and may change; existing subscribers get at least 30 days' notice by email before a new price applies to their next renewal. Taxes may apply based on your location.
Except where required by law, purchases are non-refundable once a document has been generated and downloaded. If something went wrong — a billing error, a technical failure — contact us and we will make it right.
5. Your documents & your data
You own your documents. As between you and BizDocs, you retain all rights to the documents you create with the Service and the information you provide to create them. We claim no ownership of your content.
You grant us a limited license to host, process, and store your content solely to operate and improve the Service — for example, generating your document, saving it to your account, and letting you re-download it. We do not sell your content, and we do not use your documents to train models for other customers. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide. A document built from incorrect answers will itself be incorrect.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to create documents intended to deceive, defraud, or harm others;
- resell, redistribute, or offer the Service (or documents generated for others) as your own competing service;
- copy, scrape, or systematically extract templates, questionnaires, or content from the Service;
- reverse engineer, probe, or disrupt the Service or its security;
- upload malicious code or content that infringes others' rights; or
- misrepresent BizDocs output as attorney-drafted or attorney-reviewed work.
7. Our intellectual property
The Service — including our software, questionnaires, document structures, designs, text, graphics, and the BizDocs name and logo — is owned by BizDocs or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own business or personal purposes. This license does not include any right to our underlying templates or systems beyond the documents you generate.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BIZDOCS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY DOCUMENT CREATED WITH THE SERVICE IS LEGALLY SUFFICIENT, ENFORCEABLE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR PURPOSES, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BIZDOCS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE OR (B) FIFTY DOLLARS ($50). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold BizDocs harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, your documents and how you use them, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
11. Suspension & termination
You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for us or others, or where required by law — with notice where practicable. Upon termination, your license to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (including Sections 5, and 7 through 13) survive. If we terminate without cause during a paid period, we will refund the unused portion of that period.
12. Changes to the service or terms
We are always improving the Service, and features may change or be discontinued. We may update these Terms from time to time; if a change is material, we will give notice — by email or in the Service — before it takes effect. The “Effective date” above reflects the latest revision. Continued use after a change becomes effective constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us and give us 30 days to work toward an informal resolution. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and each party consents to their jurisdiction. Each party waives any right to a jury trial to the extent permitted by law.
