Subscription Terms

Effective date: October 7, 2026 · How billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds work at BizDocs.

1. Overview

These Subscription Terms explain how billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds work for BizDocs purchases and subscriptions. They're part of our Terms of Use — by purchasing a document or subscribing, you agree to both. If anything here conflicts with the Terms of Use, these Subscription Terms control for billing matters.

We've tried to write these the way we write everything else: in plain English, with no surprises buried in the fine print.

2. Plans and pricing

BizDocs offers three ways to pay:

  • Single Document — one payment, at the price shown at checkout. A one-time purchase of a single document with limited customizations and an immediate download. This is not a subscription: you're charged once, and nothing renews.
  • BizDocs Unlimited (Monthly) — an introductory period, then a monthly subscription. A subscription with unlimited document generation, full customization, editing, document storage, and both PDF and Word downloads. The introductory charge starts an introductory access period; the charge, the length of the period and the monthly price that follows are shown at checkout before you pay. Unless you cancel before the introductory period ends, your subscription automatically continues at that monthly price.
  • BizDocs Unlimited (Annual) — billed once per year. The same unlimited plan, billed once a year at the annual price shown at checkout. The plan renews automatically each year unless you cancel.

Prices are shown at checkout, in the currency shown there, before you pay. They don't include any sales tax or VAT that may apply based on your location; where tax applies, it's shown at checkout before you pay.

3. Automatic renewal

BizDocs Unlimited renews automatically until you cancel. We send a receipt to your account email after every charge.

  • Monthly with the introductory offer: you pay the introductory charge today for the introductory period shown at checkout. If you don't cancel within that period, your subscription continues automatically: your payment method is charged the monthly price shown at checkout on the day after the introductory period ends, and then every month on that same date until you cancel.
  • Annual: your payment method is charged the annual price shown at checkout today, and then on each yearly anniversary until you cancel. We'll email you a reminder before each annual renewal.
The short version: the introductory period becomes a normal monthly subscription when it ends, unless you cancel first — and cancelling takes one click, any time, with access through the period you've already paid for.

The price you subscribe at is the price shown at checkout. If we ever change the price of your subscription, we'll notify you by email at least 30 days before the new price takes effect, so you can decide whether to continue. Price changes never apply retroactively to time you've already paid for.

4. Payment methods and failed payments

We accept major credit and debit cards through our payment processor. Your payment details are handled by the processor — BizDocs never stores your full card number.

If a renewal charge fails, we'll retry over the following days and email you so you can update your payment method in account settings. If payment still can't be collected, your subscription is paused — your account and stored documents remain, but new document generation is unavailable until billing is brought current.

5. How to cancel

You can cancel BizDocs Unlimited at any time, in either of two ways:

  • From your account settings — the cancellation option is available directly, with no retention phone call or chat required; or
  • By emailing help@bizdocs.com from your account email — we'll process it and confirm.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You keep full access until then, and you won't be charged again. We don't charge cancellation fees.

6. After cancellation

When your subscription ends, documents you've already downloaded are yours to keep — nothing you've saved to your own device expires or is taken back.

Documents stored in your BizDocs account remain available to download for 90 days after cancellation. After that, stored documents may be deleted in line with our Privacy Policy. If you resubscribe within that window, your stored documents are right where you left them.

7. Refunds

Single Document purchases. Because a single-document purchase delivers the full product immediately, these purchases are generally non-refundable once the document has been generated and downloaded. If something went wrong — the document didn't generate, you were charged twice, or the output was genuinely defective — contact us and we'll make it right.

Subscription payments. Renewal charges for billing cycles that have already started are generally non-refundable; cancelling stops future charges rather than refunding past ones. If you believe you were charged in error — for example, you cancelled before the renewal date but were billed anyway — contact us within 60 days of the charge and we'll investigate and correct any billing error.

Where the law of your jurisdiction gives you refund rights beyond these terms, nothing here limits them.

8. Billing questions and disputes

If any charge looks wrong, email help@bizdocs.com with the charge date and amount before disputing it with your card issuer — most billing issues are fixed in one reply, and a direct fix is faster than a chargeback for everyone involved.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Subscription Terms as the service evolves. If a change meaningfully affects your billing — pricing, renewal behavior, or refund rights — we'll email you before it takes effect. Continued use of your subscription after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms. The "Effective date" above always tells you when these terms were last revised.
